The Stitch meet and greet sessions are designed to delight visitors of all ages, offering a unique and enchanting experience that brings the magic of Disney to life. No matter what park you’re at, encountering Stitch in person is always a highlight of any Disney Park trip. However, guests visiting Disneyland Resort do not feel included in the Stitch meet and greet experiences.

MIA: Where Is Stitch at Disneyland?

As one of Disney’s most popular characters, Stitch can typically be found at Walt Disney World Resort every single day. However, as of recently, the same has not been true for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

If you are scrolling through the Disneyland Resort app today, you can easily see that there are no scheduled Stitch meet and greets throughout the entire park. With families traveling far and wide to come to Disney, this reality can be devastating.

Fans Upset With Stitch’s Paywall

But the Stitch meet-and-greet drama doesn’t end there. Perhaps the most scandalous part is the fact that one of the only places where Stitch can be found is the Disney® Visa® Cardmember Photo Opportunity area of Disney California Adventure Park. This meet and greet is exclusive to only those who have a Disney Visa Card, making it a significant paywall for many guests.

Guests lamented this decision in a recent post to the Disneyland Resort Reddit thread. After one guest complained about the lack of Stitch interaction opportunities, another informed them of the Disney Chase Visa offer. According to this user, Stitch rotates with Minnie Mouse and Pluto at this location.

Instantly, fans expressed their dissatisfaction with these results. Many find this decision to be especially shocking, considering Stitch would be a perfect fit for a character meet and greet in Tomorrowland. However, it seems their concerns have gone unnoticed by Disney for now.

Hopefully, Disney will listen to the criticism from fans and establish a better way for fans to celebrate their love of Stitch at Disneyland Resort. With the live-action Lilo and Stitch already in production, it would seem reasonable for fans to expect more opportunities to engage with this Disney character down the line.
