Disruption at Disneyland: Guest Sparks Incident by Breaking Park Rules

A guest recently caused a scene at Disneyland after shamelessly breaking theme park rules while walking down Main Street, U.S.A.

The Happiest Place on Earth has been the birthplace of countless magical memories for guests of all ages since its opening in 1955. While Walt Disney’s original theme park continues to be home to many iconic classic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan’s Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and “it’s a small world” to name a few, the Southern California Disney Resort is gearing up for its next phase with exciting expansions and a possible third theme park!

Unfortunately, guests had to deal with a shameless rule-breaker on a recent visit to Disneyland Park, affecting the experience for dozens of families.

TikTok user @alzatti recently posted a video of a female guest shamelessly walking down Main Street, U.S.A., toward the park’s entrance with a lit cigarette in her hand.

The guest was able to take a drag before being approached by a Disneyland cast member who firmly instructed her to put it out, among other inaudible instructions. “Wow. Crazy,” said the guest recording as he walked past the scene.

Viewers were quickly outraged by the scene, with many criticizing the guest’s attitude and choice to shamelessly break theme park rules by smoking inside Disneyland Park.

“Another reason why Disney is so magical no smoking allowed it’s nice,” said one user while another added, “I mean, who would think of doing this?” “I’m glad they said something,” another viewer commented.

One user who claimed to be a smoker herself commented, “We used to be able to walk around and smoke in Disneyland back in 2011/2010, then the smoking sections came, then they removed them, and I’ve NEVER SEEN someone do this! I’m a smoker, and I would NEVER.”

Unfortunately, this is not the first time guests have caused incidents at Disneyland after knowingly or unknowingly breaking theme park rules. Inside the Magic reported on a couple of guests causing a scene in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and Fantasyland with their outfits and a woman smuggling fireworks into Disneyland Park and lighting them in front of the iconic castle.

Additionally, we have covered multiple incidents involving sex workers attempting to record content at the parks and even causing ride shutdowns with their actions.

Disney makes the health and safety of all guests a top priority and enforces strict measures against smoking inside Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. However, the Southern California Disney Resort offers designated smoking areas in the esplanade between the parks and the Downtown Disney District.

Disney’s policy reads: “For the comfort of all Guests, smoking is not permitted in the theme parks and hotels of the Disneyland Resort, the Esplanade between the parks or the Downtown Disney District.”

If guests are caught breaking theme park rules, they could be kicked out of the park, banned for life, and even arrested. Inside the Magic urges its readers to be aware of the rules and regulations Disney sets out before they visit Disneyland Resort.
