We love capturing all the magical moments during our Walt Disney World vacation. Most of the time, we stop and get photos at well-known spots around Walt Disney World. Cinderella Castle, Tower of Terror, Tree of Life, and Spaceship Earth are all spots we make sure we have pictures in front of each trip.
But there are also so many unique photo areas throughout the Walt Disney World Property that provide great backdrops for fantastic photos. We want to share these options with you so you can grab these great photos during your next Disney vacation.
Magic Kingdom Photo Spots
Back of the Castle
Most of us always take time to capture photos of the front of the castle in Magic Kingdom. We encourage you to take time to take pictures from the backside of the castle. Stand back by Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel and take pictures using the incredible details from the back of the castle.
You can also capture some fantastic shots using some of the beautiful turrets and walls of the castle. These make fun photo spots that capture the magic of the area.
Another unique place in Magic Kingdom to capture a picture is at the wishing well. This is located on the Tomorrowland side of the castle. You can get some fun shots around the well, as it isn’t typically very crowded.
Make a wish and capture the moment with some fun pictures.
Tom Sawyer Island
Head over to Tom Sawyer Island to get some fantastic pictures of Magic Kingdom from a different point of view. You can take photos of Frontierland catching Big Thunder Mountain Railroad racing around the tracks from the island. Catch both The Haunted Mansion and Cinderella Castle from a distance.
It is so much fun to see Magic Kingdom from a different point of view.
Swiss Family Treehouse
Like Tom Sawyer Island, the Swiss Famly Treehouse provides excellent, unique views of the Magic Kingdom. You can get pictures of some attractions from high up in the treehouse below. You can see parts of Adventureland, Main Street, the U.S.A., and the hub. We highly recommend taking the trip up if you can manage all the steps.
