Fan-Favorite Animal Kingdom Restaurant Now Offering Breakfast!
Pandora: The World of Avatar opened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 27, 2017. This immersive land, based on James Cameron’s 2009 film Avatar, introduced guests to breathtaking landscapes, featuring floating mountains and bioluminescent rainforests.
The opening of World of Avatar also brought one of Disney World’s most beloved attractions, Avatar: Flight of Passage, where guests can experience a ride on the back of a banshee. They can also explore the rainforest and encounter the stunning Na’vi Shaman.

But attractions weren’t the only highlights of Pandora. The quick-service eatery Satu’li Canteen offers guests delicious and beautifully presented meals, including braised beef, chili-garlic shrimp, cheeseburger pods, and fried tofu. Meanwhile, the drink stand Pongu Pongu serves the immensely popular Night Blossom drink, which can be enhanced with rum for adults aged 21 and over.
Initially, Satu’li Canteen served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Just after a few months, the restaurant phased out its breakfast menu and concentrated solely on lunch and dinner.

The Pork Shoulder Potato Hash, Cinnamon French Toast, and Frittata and Beef are all returning favorites from the original breakfast menu, while the Tropical Pandoran Forest Fruits is a new addition.
It remains unclear whether this menu will be permanent, or if Disney is simply testing the breakfast options to gauge guest interest over time.
When it comes to breakfast at Animal Kingdom, choices are somewhat limited. Guests can find pastries and breakfast sandwiches at Creature Comforts.
Other options include Kusafiri Bakery and Coffee Shop, Tamu Tamu Refreshments, Isle of Java, Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafés, and Pongu Pongu. However, similar to Creature Comforts, these locations primarily offer pastries, cinnamon rolls, and egg sandwiches.
