Magic Kingdom 101: A Rookie’s Guide to Disney’s Most Popular Park

7 Dwarfs Mine Train

9. Big Rides First

Jumping off the previous statement, if you’re looking to take on rides like Big Thunder Mountain, Peter Pan’s Flight, or The Seven Dwarves’ Mine Train, be sure those are one of your first stops. The more popular rides fill up incredibly fast, so it’s always ideal to try to get at least one of them in within the first few minutes of your visit. If you are worried about missing out on rides like The Haunted Mansion, It’s a Small World, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, fret not. Dark rides and Omnimover tracks tend to maintain a steady pace, so their lines move relatively quicker than rides for a coaster like Space Mountain. While the dark rides and their brethren are still classics if you want to hit your favorite big-namers, be sure to hit them up first.
