When Walt Disney World Resort closed down for the pandemic back in 2020, there were multiple offerings that did not get to make their comeback when “The Most Magical Place on Earth” reopened its gates later that year. Over the next four years, as a matter of fact, we have seen Disney slowly and surely reimplement policies, offerings, and attractions that were once mainstays at its theme parks and resorts.

Now, nearly four years since its closure, Disney World is set to bring yet another offering back from the dead.

Inside the Magic previously covered that starting April 10, 2024, 1900 Park Fare will reopen with new dining offerings.

1900 Park Fare at Disney World is a culinary journey back in time, immersing guests in the elegance and charm of the early 20th century. Located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, this dining experience offers a delightful blend of delicious cuisine and enchanting character interactions. The restaurant’s name itself pays homage to the year 1900 and the grandeur of the era, setting the stage for a memorable dining adventure.

Stepping into 1900 Park Fare, guests are transported to a bygone era of Victorian elegance and whimsy. The restaurant features a spacious dining area adorned with ornate chandeliers, polished wooden accents, and intricate details reminiscent of a luxurious ballroom. Whether enjoying breakfast, brunch, or dinner, guests can indulge in a delectable spread of dishes that cater to every palate. From classic American breakfast favorites like Mickey-shaped waffles and made-to-order omelets to savory dinner options, including prime rib and seafood, there’s something to satisfy every craving.

What truly sets 1900 Park Fare apart is its character dining experiences. Throughout the meal, beloved Disney characters make special appearances, adding an extra touch of magic to the dining experience. Guests can interact with iconic characters such as Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger, creating unforgettable moments for diners of all ages.

When the restaurant reopens, it will feature “new character dining experience featuring Aladdin in his Prince Ali look, Cinderella, Mirabel and Tiana in her new look for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure,” as confirmed by Inside the Magic.

Disney’s Grand Floridian is Walt Disney World’s most popular resort and room rates can easily run more than $1,000 per night.

“Victorian elegance meets modern sophistication at this lavish Disney Resort hotel. Unwind outdoors, indulge in a luxurious massage, and watch evening fireworks light up the sky over Cinderella Castle. Just one stop to Magic Kingdom park on the complimentary Resort Monorail, this timeless Victorian-style marvel evokes Palm Beach’s golden era,” the official Disney website shares.

When it was previously open, you did not have to be a resort guest to eat at 1900 Park Fare, but information on Dining Reservations and much more has not been given as of yet. Disney World teased that more information will be revealed on March 5, 2024.

In addition to 1900 Park Fare reopening, there’s so much more happening at Walt Disney World Resort. At Magic Kingdom, Frontierland is getting a major redo with Country Bear Jamboree closed until the summer for updates and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure set to officially open this summer, as well, to replace Splash Mountain.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is closed for refurbishment until the summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Kali River Rapids is closed for maintenance at Disney’s Animal Kingdom until March 16, 2024. No major closures to report at this at EPCOT, but the Disney World park did just open Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, as well as World Celebration.
