According to reports from those in attendance, a woman was seated on the platform near the boats, holding a tissue to her chin. The presence of EMS personnel on the scene indicated a potential medical issue. Eyewitnesses noted that the woman did not appear to be visibly injured, as no blood was reported, but the EMS team was seen taking her blood pressure and providing assistance. The report says:

“Lady shuts down Tiana ride for rest of day

We were using a lightening lane and the line abruptly stopped moving. We stood in line for a good 30 mins then were ushered toward the boats to exit. In the way past the boats a lady sat in the platform holding a tissue to her chin (no visible blood) smiling and yucking it up with cast members. The EMS crew arrived in the scene and proceeded to take her bp. I hope she makes it!”
