The Return of the Good Stuff

After a COVID-induced hiatus that lasted several years, the Disney Dining Plan officially returned to the Central Florida Disney parks in early January. A few things have changed, as the prices for the plan have increased, only two plans are now available, and a few of the rules of the plans have changed.

Also at the beginning of 2024, Disney announced a free Dining Plan offer for Disney+ subscribers. Disney World was quick to clarify a few things about that offer the day after revealing the new plan. But now that the Disney+ subscribers promotional offer is over, Disney World has revealed another special offer on the Disney Dining Plan–and that promotion begins April 9.

A Brand-New Offer From Disney World

The new Disney Dining Plan offer is exclusively for Disney Visa cardmembers and includes a free Dining Plan as well. Beginning April 9, 2024, Disney Visa cardholders can book the deal on certain arrival dates in July, September, and December. But in order to take advantage of the deal, guests will need to purchase certain things as part of their vacation package.

To be eligible for the promotion, guests must book a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Disney Travel Company Package at select Disney Resort hotels with a Park Hopper ticket option.

Why Choose a Disney Dining Plan?

Walt Disney World Dining Plans are optional add-ons that enhance a Disney World vacation package, which is comprised of hotel room and admission tickets. Dining plans are only available to Disney World Resort hotel guests. Dining Plans are pre-purchased, so there’s nothing to be paid for or set up once a guest arrives at the parks.

Becky

I am a writer and a Mom to four children and two baby shih-tzus. My first experience with the Magic was in 1988, when my parents surprised my brother and me with a visit to Walt Disney World after a short trip to see friends in Georgia. I still hum the tune played during the Main Street Electrical Parade and remember the feeling of excitement from my very first visit. I introduced my husband to the Magic several years ago, and we take our children to the parks every time we can. No matter how many times I visit Walt Disney World, it seems it’s not enough! The ever-changing experience only gets better with each trip, and I’m thrilled to share the Magic with others, as well as some of the tips and tricks to getting the most out of the Magic with each visit!
