6. There Have Been Human Remains Spread on certain Walt Disney World Attractions—Myth?
This sounds like a really good myth, but truthfully, this rumor is true. It is a fact that grieving relatives have taken their loved ones’ ashes and spread them over several different attractions. As Cast Members have reported, there have been several cases of guests disposing of human remains on such attractions as Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, and The Haunted Mansion. What happens when this dreadful act occurs and is reported and witnessed by other guests, Cast Members, or video monitors, the entire ride is closed while custodial workers are called in to thoroughly clean out the ashes. This is one rumor we all wish was just a myth.
