Epic Universe Expands Christmas: Universal Officially Unveils New 2026 Offerings

Christmas is returning to Epic Universe this November, but guests who experienced the park’s first holiday season might notice some big differences this time around.

Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed several additions for the 2026 holiday season, including new decorations, seasonal food, and merchandise throughout some of Epic Universe’s most popular themed lands.

While certain Christmas experiences will return from 2025, other areas will receive festive additions for the first time, giving visitors something new to enjoy.

The resort’s holiday celebration officially begins November 14, and Epic Universe is preparing to play an even bigger role in the festivities this year.

Here’s what Universal has announced for Christmas 2026.

Epic Universe Brings the Holidays to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD

One of the biggest announcements involves SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, which will finally receive its first official Christmas decorations.

The colorful land, inspired by Nintendo’s popular video games, will welcome festive touches throughout its familiar surroundings.

That means guests exploring the world of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and other Nintendo favorites will encounter a different atmosphere during the holiday season.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD includes Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country, two areas that already feature detailed environments inspired by the games.

Universal plans to blend the new decorations with those existing surroundings rather than completely changing the land’s appearance.

Visitors will also find themed seasonal food offerings during the celebration.

For anyone who visited Epic Universe during Christmas 2025, these additions will provide a new reason to return to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.

However, Nintendo isn’t the only popular franchise receiving more holiday attention.

One Christmas Celebration Expands

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk will also expand its Christmas celebration in 2026.

Universal is bringing more Snoggletog festivities to the Viking-inspired land, introducing a fuller collection of holiday decorations throughout the village.

Snoggletog serves as the winter holiday celebrated in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, making it a fitting seasonal addition to Berk.

Guests who visited the land during Epic Universe’s first Christmas season may recognize some familiar festive elements, but Universal plans to build on that experience this year.

Along with the expanded decorations, visitors can expect seasonal merchandise inspired by the celebration.

Universal will also introduce specialty food and beverages, adding more holiday options for guests exploring the village.

The expanded Snoggletog celebration should make Berk feel even more festive while keeping the land’s familiar Viking atmosphere.

Meanwhile, two other Epic Universe locations will welcome back Christmas experiences from last year.

Celestial Park Transforms Into a Winter Wonderland

Universal isn’t replacing every offering from Epic Universe’s Christmas season.

Celestial Park will once again feature its cosmic winter wonderland, bringing festive decorations back to the heart of the theme park.

The central area connects guests to Epic Universe’s different themed worlds and features gardens, fountains, and celestial-inspired architecture.

During the holiday season, visitors will find twinkling Christmas trees and seasonal displays surrounding the Cosmos Fountain.

The illuminated decorations will create another festive setting for guests exploring the park after dark.

Unlike the new additions coming to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and Isle of Berk, Celestial Park’s celebration will bring back an experience guests could enjoy during Christmas 2025.

And another popular world will continue that returning holiday tradition.

Ministry of Magic Celebrates Christmas Again

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will also participate in Epic Universe’s second Christmas season.

Universal has confirmed that festive lighting and seasonal decorations will return to the land in 2026.

The themed environment combines wizarding Paris with the British Ministry of Magic, featuring detailed settings inspired by the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises.

Christmas decorations will add another seasonal element to the surroundings, allowing guests to experience the Wizarding World in a festive atmosphere.

Together, these returning experiences and new additions will expand Epic Universe’s overall Christmas celebration.

But Universal has even more planned beyond its newest theme park.

Universal Orlando Brings Back More Holiday Favorites

Universal Orlando Resort’s Christmas celebration runs from November 14, 2026, through January 3, 2027.

At Universal Islands of Adventure, guests can celebrate Grinchmas in Seuss Landing, including performances of the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular.

The live stage show features the Grinch, the Whos of Who-ville, and music inspired by the classic holiday story.

Universal Studios Florida will also bring back Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, complete with giant character balloons, colorful floats, performers, and familiar Universal characters.

With new Christmas decorations arriving in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, expanded Snoggletog festivities in Isle of Berk, and returning favorites throughout the resort, Universal Orlando is preparing for a bigger holiday season in 2026.

For Epic Universe visitors, the second Christmas celebration will offer a mix of familiar experiences and festive additions that weren’t available during the park’s first holiday season.
