Guests Demand $50 for Vomiting Incident at Disneyland

A Disneyland Resort guest recently shared her shocking experience on Star Tours—The Adventures Continue, which had nothing to do with the ride itself. The incident, which left the guest covered in vomit, has sparked conversations about how Disney parks handle such mishaps and whether guests should receive compensation in similar situations.

TikToker Kelsey (@kelseyyams) visited Disneyland Resort with friends to celebrate a birthday. Before the fireworks, the group decided to end their evening with a ride on Star Tours—The Adventures Continue. However, their night took a disgusting turn.

“All of a sudden, at the end of the ride, I was like, ‘Oh my god, is that a new feature where they spray water on you?'” Kelsey said. “So I screamed. Turns out, it was not water; it was, in fact, throw up.”

A guest sitting in the row behind her got sick and vomited on Kelsey, leaving her hair and sweatshirt soiled. Instead of enjoying Disneyland Park’s fireworks show, she and her friends spent the rest of the evening in the bathroom trying to clean up.

Where’s the Compensation From Disneyland?

After Kelsey shared her story on TikTok, commenters expressed shock that Disneyland cast members did not immediately offer her compensation, such as a clothing voucher, to make up for the ordeal.

“Did you get the $50 voucher for new clothes?????” asked @joannanewsomluver333.

“Next time let a cast member know!!” wrote @okaylisag. “They’ll help you with supplies to clean up and give you a voucher to replace any soiled clothing.”

Others echoed similar sentiments, suggesting that Disney Parks should have protocols to address such incidents quickly.
