Outrage at Disneyland as Guests Caught Giving Racist Salute—Fans React

Disneyland Resort has become the center of controversy after a disturbing incident inside Disney California Adventure Park. A ride photo from Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! captured four guests making what appeared to be a Nazi salute, sparking immediate backlash online. Fans are now demanding lifetime bans for those involved, questioning the Southern California Disney park’s enforcement of its guest conduct policies.
Disturbing Ride Photo Sparks Outrage
At the end of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, guests rush to the monitors to see their on-ride photos. But on Thursday, one Disneyland guest spotted something far more alarming—a group of riders displaying a racist salute.

Reddit user u/crazyfrecs shared the shocking image online, writing:
“Cast members who work screens for the ride, why would you allow this?”

Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort have policies in place to monitor and delete offensive ride photos, ensuring that inappropriate gestures or behavior are not displayed publicly. If a cast member catches it in time, the image is removed before it appears on monitors or links to a guest’s Disney account. However, in this case, the photo made it through, leaving many questioning how Disneyland Resort missed such a blatant violation.
Fans Call for Disneyland to Take Action
The response from Disney Parks fans was swift, with many insisting that the guests responsible for the salute should never be allowed to return to a Disney park.

“It must be a permanent ban from the parks,” u/ryannelsn commented. “Obviously there is an effort to normalize this and it’s working. Action has to be taken. It has to be taken seriously.”
Other guests were equally frustrated, arguing that Disneyland needs to act immediately when incidents like this happen.
“These girls should be tracked down and banned from entering any Disney premises for a certain amount of time and maybe fined,” u/alevermor wrote. “They need to understand the seriousness of what this gesture implies. This goes for anyone trying to pull this. It starts off as jokes until people are desensitized to it. Who knows if they were even joking.”

“I’m seeing this a lot in general lately, not just at Disneyland,” said u/Melodic-Welcome-6726. “It’s like zoomers don’t understand the significance or the weight behind what they’re doing. They just think it’s funny bc Elon did it. Doing a nazi salute is one of those things where I would support a lifetime ban as punishment for the offenders. We need to stop letting people get away with this.”
A Pattern of Nazi-Related Incidents at Disney Parks?
Unfortunately, this is not the first time Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort have been linked to Nazi-related controversies.
In 2023, a group of white supremacists gathered outside Walt Disney World Resort, waving Nazi flags near the entrance. That incident prompted widespread outrage, with many fans demanding a stronger stance from Disney. Just last month, another guest was reportedly caught making a Nazi gesture on the same ride—Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!

These repeated incidents have Disney Parks fans on edge, wondering whether the company is doing enough to enforce its rules.
Has Disneyland Ignored Guest Complaints?
Some fans believe that Disneyland Resort has failed to respond to guest reports of offensive behavior in the parks, including last month’s Nazi gesture on Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!.
“I emailed Disney when this happened a few weeks ago and they didn’t reply or engage with it at all,” said Reddit user u/punkguitarlessons.

Another user, u/Moist-Cloud2412, warned that Disneyland’s failure to act allows these incidents to escalate.
“Disneyland is not taking it seriously & now it’s escalating,” they wrote. “…My whole point is if they do nothing [it] will spread & I was right.”
Will Disneyland Respond?
Disneyland Resort’s official guest policies prohibit offensive and disruptive behavior, stating that the park reserves the right to remove guests who violate these rules.

“Please show common courtesy to fellow Guests and our Cast Members by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, jumping lines or saving places in lines for others,” read the official Disneyland Resort rules.
At this time, Disneyland Resort has not issued a public statement on the incident, leaving many guests frustrated and demanding accountability.
If you witness inappropriate behavior at Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort, notify the nearest cast member or security personnel instead of engaging with the offenders directly.
