Disneyland Horror: Video Footage Shows Car Colliding With Pedestrian Path
Days after a freak accident took the life of a longtime Disneyland Resort cast member, a reckless Disney Park guest put hundreds of lives at risk.
Bonnye Lear was an administrator for Club 33, the luxurious, members-only restaurant at Disneyland Park. On June 5, the 60-year-old fell out of a moving golf cart backstage at Disneyland Resort, hitting her head on impact. She was rushed to the hospital but sadly passed away two days later.
“We are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye and offer our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her,” Disneyland Resort President Ken Potorock said in a statement. “At this time, we are focused on supporting her family and our cast members through this tragic event and making sure they have the resources they need.”
Days after the devastating loss, TikToker @payzarjacqueline witnessed a heedless driver put hundreds of Disneyland Park, Downtown Disney, and Disney California Adventure Park guests’ lives at risk. The Disney Park guest initially shared this video of a man driving his Ford Bronco SUV down a pedestrian walkway in the Pixar Pals Parking Structure:

“He really almost made it to the escalators,” the guest wrote.
The video went viral, with many commenters horrified by the guest’s careless behavior.
“There are those little safety poles everywhere!” said @mortandcocandles. “HOW?!”

“That’s a good way to get kicked out of Disney before even getting into the actual park,” @spookadelic replied.
Following the clip’s popularity, the guest posted a longer video explaining what she witnessed:

“They literally got as close to the escalator as possible before [security] was like, ‘Hey, you’re going the wrong way,” she explained. “In their defense, I don’t think there was a blockage.”
The guest said that Disneyland Resort security cast members slowly guided the vehicle back out the way it came in, and no one was injured in the accident. But Disney Parks fans weren’t sympathetic to the lost SUV.
“One way signs and arrows do not direct you to go the wrong way,” @ncmor9 wrote. “Blockage isn’t needed when there’s signs.”

Report any inappropriate or dangerous guest behavior to Disney cast members. They can contact security or law enforcement teams who are better equipped to handle tense situations than everyday guests.
