Disney Parks Cut Admission Prices for Select Guests in New 2027 Announcement
Disney is cutting ticket prices for select guests in 2027.
The announcement follows another round of price increases at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. In October, the most expensive one-day ticket in Florida reached $229, while several ticket tiers in California increased by $5.

Annual passes have also become more expensive. Walt Disney World’s Disney Incredi-Pass jumped from $1,629 to $1,749, while the resort’s cheapest option, the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, increased by $10.
Despite these increases, Disney continues to offer discounted admission to certain visitors. Its latest promotion will give students of various ages cheaper access to two theme parks beginning January 4, 2027.
Disney Announces Reduced Ticket Prices for Students
Tokyo Disney Resort has confirmed that its Campus Day Passport will return from January 4 through March 19, 2027, offering discounted admission to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
The promotion is available to middle school, high school, university, graduate school, junior college, and technical school students.

Eligible visitors will save 1,000 yen (approximately $6.30) on adult tickets or 800 yen (approximately $5) on junior tickets. Prices vary depending on the date, as Tokyo Disney Resort operates a variable pricing system.
There is no upper age limit for the discount. Students attending eligible institutions outside Japan can also participate, although they must bring valid student identification.
Tickets went on sale November 4, 2026, through Tokyo Disney Resort’s website and app, as well as participating convenience stores. Each passport provides admission to one park for one day.
This isn’t Disney’s first student promotion in Japan. Similar College Passports were offered in early 2025 and 2026, while another discount in September 2026 gave eligible university students savings of up to 1,900 yen.

The resort also differs from its American counterparts in one significant way: annual passes have remained unavailable since the COVID-19 pandemic, requiring repeat visitors to purchase individual tickets.
Disney Confirms More Changes for Early 2027
The discounted tickets coincide with several events at Tokyo Disney Resort, including the final months of Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
From January 13, the park will introduce Sparkling Jubilee Celebration Finale, an updated version of its anniversary entertainment. Guests can also experience Tower of Terror: Level 13, a more intense version of the popular drop tower attraction.

Meanwhile, Tokyo Disneyland will host Minnie’s Funderland from January 13 through March 31. The event marks the seventh and final installment of the Disney Pal-Palooza series.
Both parks will also celebrate the Japanese New Year from January 1 through 11, overlapping with the first week of discounted student admission.
Tokyo Disneyland is preparing to open Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue, a new Wreck-It Ralph attraction, on April 15, 2027. However, that opening falls outside the Campus Day Passport promotion.
Tokyo Disney Resort’s standard ticket prices are already considerably lower than those at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort, with one-day admission generally ranging from 8,900 to 12,400 yen.
Eligible students will have until March 19 to take advantage of the additional savings before the promotion ends.
