Disney has released a new collection of new point-of-view (POV) ride videos on Disney+. This addition features a total of 16 new experiences, allowing fans to experience some of the magic of the parks right from their living rooms. Notable rides such as Indiana Jones Adventure, Incredicoaster, and Pirates of the Caribbean are included in this collection, which is particularly significant as it commemorates Disneyland’s 70th anniversary.
These POV videos provide a nostalgic tie to classic attractions and offer a glimpse into the modern marvels Disney has crafted, such as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Even from the comfort of home, audiences can relive the thrills of the rides, although they might be met with unexpected surprises during their viewings. Users can watch a POV of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, too, though they may spot a few mistakes in the video.
Key moments in the ride, particularly those featuring Tiana, have drawn attention due to the malfunctioning of her animatronics. At the beginning of the ride, guests encounter Tiana, who, while her mouth and eyes function correctly, remains entirely still aside from these features. This lack of movement is particularly striking against the backdrop of a vibrantly animated environment.
Umm… so this is awkward. The last Tiana animatronic isn’t fully functional on the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride through on Disney+. pic.twitter.com/ZYvYL6RMc0

The grand finale of the ride also leaves much to be desired. Here, Tiana stands motionless amidst a beautifully detailed scene, which has sparked reactions from viewers. Clips showing these animatronic mishaps have circulated widely on social media, leading to a mixture of amusement and concern from Disney fans. Many have expressed their disappointment, noting that lifeless displays detract from the overall immersion and storytelling that Disney strives to achieve.
Disneyland’s version of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is often considered the better version for a number of reasons. Guests swear that the West Coast take on the ride also features more water, enhancing its “splash factor.”
For those planning to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, particularly at Disneyland, packing a poncho might be wise.
