How To Ride Cosmic Rewind 3X in 1 Day at Disney
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is one of Walt Disney World Resort’s most extraordinary rides. As one of the newest and most popular attractions, park guests always wish for more.

The indoor roller coaster incorporates characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy films and takes them on a thrill-ride adventure. Due to the popularity of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, the MCU, and roller coasters in general, guests are always looking to ride Cosmic Rewind as often as possible.
Unfortunately, the system Disney has designed makes it difficult to enjoy it more than once per day. But there is a way to score three rides in a single day at the park. How? Let’s explore…
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind utilizes a Virtual Queue system. This is similar to how Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance operated when it first opened and how TRON: Lightcycle Run is currently managed.

It works differently from your standard Individual Lightning Lanes or Disney Genie+ passes. It shortens the time standing in line. However, it limits you to one ride a day and doesn’t give you the option of standby or single riders.
Disney describes the system as such:
A virtual queue is in place for this attraction. Guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter the attraction. A standby queue is not available. Each Guest can enter the virtual queue no more than once per day during regular park hours.
Boarding groups for a virtual queue are limited, subject to availability, and are not guaranteed. Not all boarding groups may be called to return, based on availability of the experience. View important information about the virtual queue.

The Virtual Queue typically opens at 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. The first chance you have to ride the coaster is snagging a spot on one of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind standard boarding groups.
The Individual Lightning Lane
This second ride will cost you some $$$. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind offers an Individual Lightning Lane, which allows you to skip ahead of the standard virtual queue guests.
Disney allows you to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane even if you have previously enjoyed the free Virtual Queue. However, the price will vary and only guarantees one ride.

Guests may also purchase Individual Lightning Lane entry for this attraction. Lightning Lane entry purchases are limited in availability, are subject to change or closure, may vary by date, and are not guaranteed.
Extended Evening Hours (3rd Virtual Queue)
These Extended Evening Hours usually last 2 hours following regular theme park hours. However, times are subject to change, so please check the My Disney Experience app for the most updated information.

On Extended Evening hours days, eligible Guests can use the Virtual Queue twice — Once during the 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. distribution and again during the 6 p.m. distribution. In addition to purchasing Individual Lightning Lane, this could be a THIRD RIDE.
Although it may take a little bit of planning, being quick on the Disney apps, and some extra cash, it’s VERY possible to enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind three times a day.
