Disney Guests Get Into Altercation Over Children at Magic Kingdom Park

A family day at Magic Kingdom can offer unforgettable memories, but it’s not always pixie dust and happily ever afters. In a recent social media clip that gained traction overnight, tensions flared among park guests during the evening spectacular at Walt Disney World Resort, leading to a verbal confrontation involving internet personalities FunnyMike and Jaliyah.

The TikTok video, shared by Press Play Clips (@pressplayclipss_), captures a moment many Disney guests can relate to—finding the perfect view for a nighttime show. In this case, it was the ever-popular Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom. The footage shows FunnyMike lifting one of their children onto his shoulders, presumably to give them a better view. Jaliyah later confirmed via her Instagram Stories that the family was indeed watching the show.

Not long after, a guest nearby voiced frustration, reportedly saying, “You’re putting your kids right in front of my kids.” The situation escalated quickly. Other exchanges included remarks like, “Why are you talking about my kids?” and Jaliyah replying, “Well, you better find a better spot.”

Jaliyah can also be heard saying, “Oh, you better shut up; talking about these kids over here, you better shut the f*** up,” before repeating her point: “Get a better spot.”

Later in what appeared to be a livestream, Jaliyah emphasized her stance, saying she “does not play about [her] kids” and that the woman “lost her motherf****** mind speaking on [her] kids.” The clip, featuring the caption “Baby Dee don’t play about her kids at all,” has garnered nearly 300,000 views within hours of posting.

While the confrontation didn’t become physical, similar incidents are not unheard of at Disney parks. Last year, a dispute outside Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom escalated into a fist fight. Overseas, Disneyland Paris also saw conflict when a queue-cutting dispute turned into a group altercation at Walt Disney Studios Park.

Though Walt Disney World and its sister parks are designed to be welcoming spaces for all, moments of high energy—like parades, fireworks, and evening shows—can often lead to emotionally charged situations. Guests eagerly anticipate these performances, but blocked views and disagreements over saved space can heighten tempers.

It’s a reminder that while Disney magic is always in the air, patience and courtesy are just as essential to a great vacation. What’s your take on the situation? Let us know in the comments.

When he’s not thinking about the Magic Kingdom, Thomas is usually reading a book, becoming desperately obsessed with fictional characters, or baking something delicious (his favorite is chocolate cake -- to bake and to eat). He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer except when it's One Tree Hill. He loves sandy beach walks, forest hikes, and foodie days out in the Big City. Thomas lives in England, UK, with his fiancée, baby, and their dog, a Border Collie called Luna.

  1. These so called YouTube stars are self absorbed, overblown ego jerks who think way too much of themselves. And to say how your kids are so important but you talk that way in front of them and act like that. The kids are going to grow up acting the same or worse. This is what is wrong with social media. Creating the inconsiderate, backward thinking jerks who don’t care about anyone else. Be a decent person. I am appalled at this behavior and would have reacted to them in a similar way. Maybe worse.

  2. Have consideration for those around you and keep your children off your shoulders. It blocks the views for everyone. Doesn’t matter if you are a fake celebrity or not.
