Harassment Reported at Magic Kingdom Park, Video Evidence Unveiled
A Walt Disney World Resort guest shared footage on TikTok this week after a strange experience at Magic Kingdom Park. The video went viral, and thousands of commenters shared their thoughts on the encounter.
It’s no secret that Walt Disney wanted a seemingly endless plot of land for his second Disney Resort. After cramming Disneyland Park into Anaheim, California, Disney and his brother Roy E. Disney set their sights on acres of undeveloped swampland in Central Florida. More than 50 years later, Walt Disney World Resort is home to dozens of Disney Resort hotels, four Disney parks, two Disney water parks, Disney Springs, and more.
Still, even pixie dust can’t take the swamp out of Central Florida. Guests are bound to see some Florida wildlife during their vacations. After all, as any parent knows, kids will stand in front of a tiger at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and ask if they can go back to chasing a lizard! Luckily, most wildlife is harmless; even black bears and alligators are more afraid of us than we are of them.
Kie (@muvastylez on TikTok) went viral after sharing an unusual experience with another Walt Disney World Resort “guest.” Sitting in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park, a great egret harassed her for some of her family’s lunch!

“I don’t know why this bird keeps coming here,” said the guest filming. “I’m not feeding you.”
The real culprit was off-screen, having slipped the bird a snack right before the recording began. “It’s because you fed it,” the guest said.
The video amassed more than 200,000 likes and thousands of comments. Much like a guest distracted by a lizard, this Walt Disney World Resort experience enthralled viewers more than a high-tech ride or magical character meet-and-greet!
“He was getting taller every second,” said @jonenvy.
“After that neck extension I would’ve left,” @me_and_lovely replied.
“This bird has [a] dangerous aura,” @xobbypink quipped.
Feeding Walt Disney World Resort wildlife isn’t recommended. Human food isn’t best for their digestive systems, and it’s unsafe for them to associate people with feeding time.

A few years ago I had an unfortunate encounter with a seagull at EPCOT. I was attacked from behind by a seagull that knocked my funnel cake off my plate to the ground. I was instantly surrounded by a whole flock of seagulls fighting for the cake. In seconds there was no trace of the funnel cake, not even any powdered sugar. Cover your food!
