Disney Confirms New Pirates of the Caribbean Addition at Magic Kingdom
Disney is adding a third souvenir mug to its Pirates of the Caribbean tavern.
The Pirate Parrot Mug is coming soon to The Beak and Barrel in Adventureland, paired with a new drink called Mariner’s Fortune.
Disney describes the punch as “A bold punch made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, guava, DOLE Pineapple Juice, ginger, and lime.”
No price. No release date. But we do know that there is a limit of two per person, per transaction. Disney has also stated it will only be available while supplies last.
The Design
A parrot perched on a square faux wooden base.
It wears a tricorn pirate hat with a skull and crossbones on the front, and what looks like an eyepatch over one eye. An anchor emblem sits on the chest.
Best detail: the tricorn appears to form the top opening. You drink out of the hat.
Finish is terracotta with sculpted wood lines.
Is It Rummy?
Rummy, the tavern’s parrot quartermaster, has been part of The Beak and Barrel’s story since before it opened, and there is already a Rummy Shoulder Plush sold there.
A parrot mug at a bar with a parrot mascot is the most perfect way to get Disney fans in the door to grab this drink and mug.
What It Might Cost
Disney has not announced pricing, but the bar has a track record.
Plunderer’s Punch, which includes the Pirate Skull Mug, costs $46.
The Redd mug, sold on its own at the Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar gift shop, is $39.99.
So mug-inclusive drinks here have landed in the mid-forties, while standalone mugs are in the high thirties. Plan around that until Disney says otherwise.
How You Get It Is the Real Question
The Beak and Barrel has used two different models, and collectors should know both.
The Pirate Skull Mug was drink-only, one per guest. Want the mug, buy the cocktail.
The Redd mug was purchased at a gift shop as a standalone item. No drink involved.
We can assume that this mug will only be available if you buy the drink. But we can dream that it ends up in the gift shop at a later date.
That gap matters. Drink-only shuts out anyone who does not drink, is driving, or is pregnant, and a one-per-guest cap creates problems for families where more than one person wants one.
If it eventually reaches the gift shop like the Redd mug did, none of that is an issue.
Why Vodka in a Pirate Bar
Worth noticing.
This is a Pirates of the Caribbean tavern. Plunderer’s Punch leads with The Kraken Black Spiced Rum, exactly as you would expect.
Mariner’s Fortune leads with vodka.
Guava, pineapple, ginger, and lime are a punch profile built for rum. Vodka makes it lighter and pushes the fruit and ginger forward instead of burying them under spiced rum.
It is also the safer commercial bet. Spiced rum divides people, and a lot of guests want the mug more than they want a Kraken-heavy drink.
Odd for the theme. Smart for sales.
That Makes Three
Pirate Skull Mug. Redd mug. Pirate Parrot Mug.
Three mugs at a bar that opened on August 29, 2025.
That is no longer a souvenir. That is a set, and sets bring people back.
Still Unknown
What remains unknown is how long the drink will be around, since Disney stated, “available while supplies last.” We also don’t know the exact pricing yet.
These tend to show up with little warning, and the opening mug drew lines fast. Check in at the tavern at Magic Kingdom.
