We wanted to provide a list of the top rides in Walt Disney World at each of the four Theme Parks.  Take a look at our list and see if you agree with us.  Does your favorite attraction make the list?

We hope this list is fun as well as helps you figure out what rides you might want to experience in Walt Disney World during your magical Disney vacation.

EPCOT

We are going to start in EPCOT where the name of the game here right now is transition.  EPCOT is going through a major re-imagination causing it to have some growing pains at the moment.  The exciting part though is that with growing pains comes some amazing rides and new attractions that we can’t wait to experience in 2022.

So what are the top rides in EPCOT at the moment?  We are going to have to start by heading back to the France Pavilion where Guests can get shrunk down to the size of a rat and enjoy a race throughout Gusteau’s kitchen on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

This family-friendly Disney ride is fun for everyone and is currently the top attraction in EPCOT.  Guests will laugh together as they try to escape the chaos that happens.

From shrinking down to rat size to flying high in the sky, our next top ride in EPCOT is Soarin’ Around the World.  Found in The Land Pavilion, Soarin’ allows Guests to glide right over amazing landmarks such as the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal, and even Spaceship Earth.

We love Soarin and how it uses both sights and smells to really bring Guests into the different locations throughout the world.

Next, buckle up as you prepare for Test Track the highest-paced ride in all of Walt Disney World as Guests race up to 65 mph.  Although adults might not find this ride as thrilling as younger Guests do, it is good for a laugh or maybe even a scream.

Currently, those are the top rides in EPCOT at the moment.  We can’t wait for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind to open in the summer of 2022.  We know that it will jump right to the top of the list of best rides.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there are a variety of unique rides to choose from.  Our first pick is Kilimanjaro Safari.  This ride is so unique as it takes Guests on a true safari where they can see a variety of animals roaming throughout the Harambe Wildlife Reserve.

Each and every safari experience is different making it a ride we can do over and over again.  We love how up close we can get to giraffes, okapi, elephants, and lions.  What a magical experience we can’t get anywhere else.

Next on the list of our top rides for Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Avatar Flight of Passage.  Guests are connected with their very own banshee and then they soar together to experience the beautiful and sometimes dangerous world of Pandora.

This ride is so unique and truly makes Guests feel like they are flying around Pandora.  Wait times are still long for this ride daily years after it opened.  This shows how much Guests love it.

Expedition Everest is a unique coaster in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  It takes Guests backward, in the dark, and is extremely fast as well.

The theming of this coaster is amazing as Guests can see artifacts in the queue that really help set the story.    This adventure to see the Yeti is an absolute must!

We love the variety of rides that we have to choose from in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  They each offer something truly special and unique.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

If there is any Disney Park that has stepped up its game in the past few years it is Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  This Disney Park has gone from a half-day experience to a Park that needs a few days to get it all in.

It is no surprise that our first pick for a top ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.  This ride puts Guests right in the middle of the action as they become part of the story fighting the First Order.

This ride is like nothing else Guests experience in all of Walt Disney World and it is absolutely fantastic even for non-Star Wars fans.

The next pick for a top ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Slinky Dog Dash.

Slinky Dog Dash is a fun, family center coaster in Toy Story Land that will leave Guests screaming and laughing with joy.  With two small launches, a fun drop as well as a few dips it has a little of everything.  Don’t miss the great views from this coaster as well.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a family-friendly ride that is the first to feature Mickey Mouse himself.  Guests travel on a trackless ride as Mickey and friends face a variety of fun and adventure.

The unique projections really leave Guests amazing and needing to ride again to see it all.  We love the visuals and who wouldn’t want to ride along with Mickey and friends.

We love the transformation that Disney’s Hollywood Studios has gone through in the past few years.  The new lands, rides, and experiences are fantastic.

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is the Disney Park with the most to choose from when it comes to picking top rides.  It can be hard to narrow down but the best part is the rides in Magic Kingdom are all so different from one another that there is something for everyone to explore.

Our favorites do tend to change each time we visit this Theme Park depending on what we are in the mood for, but overall these are our current top rides in Magic Kingdom.

Pirates of the Caribbean is the ride we think is a must-do each and every time we visit Magic Kingdom.  The ride is a combination of dark ride, water ride, and small thrill ride that makes it so much fun.

We love the visuals, the songs, and even the smells of this ride!  Pirates of the Caribbean is definitely a top choice.

The Haunted Mansion would be our next pick when it comes to top rides in Magic Kingdom.  This ride is a classic Disney attraction and we feel it is one that Guests should experience each trip.

We love the overall storyline of the ride, the ride vehicles themselves, and the special effects that bring the ride to life.  Even though it might not be the most thrilling ride in Magic Kingdom, we do love it.

The wildest ride in the wilderness is another favorite ride in Magic Kingdom.  Guests can race through the wilderness on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.  It is a good first coaster as it doesn’t have huge drops or heights making it easier for those younger family members.

Magic Kingdom has so much to offer when it comes to rides that we can always find something to ride.

Those are our top rides currently in Walt Disney World in each of the four Theme Parks.  Did your favorite make our list?  Did we miss it?  Let us know!
