BREAKING: Disney World Drops Major Details on 3 New Rides Coming to Animal Kingdom
Disney isn’t holding back with its transformation of Animal Kingdom.
After years of questions about what would eventually replace DinoLand U.S.A., Disney had already confirmed Tropical Americas as the answer. We knew Encanto and Indiana Jones would anchor the land alongside an animal carousel.
Now, Disney has filled in some very important blanks.

At D23 2026, the company revealed official names and significant new details for all three attractions, giving us our best idea yet of what Animal Kingdom’s newest land will offer.
Welcome to Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto
Disney’s Encanto attraction is officially called Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto.
Instead of simply recreating the story guests already know, the attraction will expand the world of Casita.
The story takes place during Antonio’s gift day, when he receives his ability to communicate with animals. Guests are invited into Casita for the celebration before climbing aboard ride vehicles created from furniture magically assembled by the house.
Disney says those vehicles will have personalities of their own, reacting to what happens throughout the adventure.
The journey eventually reaches Antonio’s rainforest-filled room, where more than 50 animals will be represented.
Disney also confirmed there will be no height requirement, making this a ride that even Animal Kingdom’s youngest visitors can experience.

Indiana Jones Is Getting a New Adventure
Then there’s Indiana Jones.
The attraction replacing DINOSAUR has officially been named Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent.
Disney is sending Indy into dangerous territory with a story involving a mysterious temple and the Mayan underworld.
Set in the 1950s before Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), the adventure begins when Indiana Jones discovers a passage inside the temple.
A myth claims a giant creature protects the temple. Indy ventures inside, guests follow, and everyone soon discovers that the creature is very real.
The resulting escape will involve a portal to the underworld, bats, scorpions, fire and snakes before culminating in a major confrontation.
An Indiana Jones Audio-Animatronic is reportedly being modeled after Harrison Ford as part of the new experience.

Disney Names Its New Animal Carousel
Disney’s third Tropical Americas attraction is much more relaxed, but it now has an official identity, too.
El Carrusel de los Animalitos will feature 22 hand-carved animals based on characters from Disney and Pixar stories.
Disney is describing the ride as an Animal Kingdom-inspired take on the classic carousel, giving families another attraction that fits directly into the park’s animal-centered identity.
A Huge Change for Animal Kingdom
These announcements don’t change the basic Tropical Americas plans Disney previously revealed. Instead, they finally put names and detailed stories behind attractions that we’ve been hearing about for quite some time.
Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto will bring guests directly inside Casita. Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent will send riders into a supernatural adventure beneath an ancient temple. El Carrusel de los Animalitos will offer a slower family experience built around Disney and Pixar animals.
The surrounding land will also include shopping, a Maya-inspired play area, and a huge hacienda restaurant expected to rank among Walt Disney World’s largest quick-service dining locations.
Tropical Americas was already one of Disney World’s biggest projects.
Now, we’re finally learning exactly what guests will be riding when Animal Kingdom’s transformation is complete.
