Magic Kingdom Announces New Attraction in Development
Finally, a new attraction is making its way over to Magic Kingdom Park!
Magic Kingdom consists of several different lands, including Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Frontierland, Main Street, U.S.A., Liberty Square, and many more. Perhaps the most iconic of these lands, though, is Fantasyland.
Besides seeing Cinderella Castle, one of the highlights of Fantasyland is the iconic “it’s a small world,” where guests embark on a musical boat journey through a whimsical world of singing dolls representing different cultures from around the globe.
This beloved classic is a celebration of unity and diversity, leaving a lasting impression on all who experience its joyous melodies. In addition, Fantasyland offers attractions like Peter Pan’s Flight, where guests soar above the streets of London and journey to Neverland aboard a magical pirate ship. Meanwhile, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train invites Disney World guests to join Snow White and her friends on a rollicking roller coaster ride through the diamond mines.
But Fantasyland is not just about fast-paced rides; it’s also a place of enchantment and imagination. Dumbo the Flying Elephant is a popular attraction located in Fantasyland. Over beside Dumbo the Flying Elephant is where a new attraction will soon be located inside Disney World park.
Smellephants on Parade is a captivating interactive adventure set to debut in Fantasyland’s Storybook Circus. This family-friendly quest invites guests to embark on a whimsical search-and-sniff journey, where they encounter aromatic delights and charming surprises along the way.
Ashley Carter tweeted on X about Smellphants on Parade making their debut. This attraction will have 8 different statues for Disney park guests to experience, each smelling different, such as churros, popcorn, cotton candy, and much more.

This experience will be available next month. The next major attraction coming to Magic Kingdom will be Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is set to open in the summer of this year. Magic Kingdom has undergone unique changes, with Splash Mountain closing to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Also, in Frontierland, Country Bears Jamboree closed for a massive update and retheming. The updated attraction is expected to open in the summer, as well.
Will you stop and smell the Smellephants when it opens in Magic Kingdom?
