Disney World Favorite Reopens After Long Wait
The amazing eatery 1900 Park Fare in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is finally opening its doors to guests once more.
A Walt Disney World vacation is a magical experience like no other. As visitors explore the enchanting parks such as Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the iconic Magic Kingdom Park within Disney World, they are captivated by the essence of Disney magic that draws people from every corner of the globe.
Whether it’s the allure of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or the charm of Disneyland Resort in California, guests immerse themselves in the beloved Disney experience. Each visit is a memorable journey into the heart of imagination and wonder, complete with excitement and joy that fill the air at any Disney Park.
For avid Disney Park fans, there is a part of the overall experience that isn’t so enjoyable—closures. It is common for beloved rides, attractions, and even Walt Disney World dining establishments to temporarily close their doors to undergo necessary maintenance and refurbishment.
The reality of periodic closures reminds guests that even the most magical places require upkeep and enhancements to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience. Guests often adapt to these temporary closures, understanding that they are necessary to maintain the standards of excellence that Disney Parks are renowned for.
(Of course, occasionally, these closures are more permanent as well, as with Splash Mountain’s retheme to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.)
However, fans can now rejoice as one Disney World staple that has been closed for a while now is finally reopening at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. 1900 Park Fare, which will feature new character dining experiences, is opening once again at the Central Florida Disney Resort.

Theme park journalist Ashley Carter shared the news on X, formerly Twitter, further explaining, “When 1900 Park Fare reopens, it will also feature a ‘refreshed look.’ The new look in the dining room ‘pays homage to the late Victorian period, with art reminiscent of this golden era,” according to Disney.”‘
