You get these rags wet and then use them around your neck, on your head, or anywhere else that will help keep your body temperature down.
Individual Fans
Another great item to have in the Disney Parks with you when it gets hot is Individual fans.
It is nice to have some air movement when waiting in line for a ride. These are also great when waiting for a parade or fireworks. Incredibly, a little air movement can help you feel better.
There are lots of options to choose from when it comes to individual fans. You can get ones around your neck and don’t have to hold on to little handheld ones with fun themes. No matter what you choose, we would pick one that is rechargeable. You don’t want to have to be packing batteries as well.
Umbrellas
The umbrellas at aren’t just for the rain storms. Having an umbrella on sweltering days can make a huge difference as well.
Use the umbrella to block out the sun’s rays while standing in line for rides that offer no shade or while walking from place to place in the Disney Parks. You will be surprised how much of a difference that little shade helps.

As you travel around the Disney Parks, make sure you find . We often call this hopping. We hop from air-conditioned location to air-conditioned location to stay calm. Have an idea of where you can find these locations throughout the four Disney Parks to help stay cool.

No secret about it. When we need to cool off in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we head to For the First time in Forever: a Frozen Sing-Along. This is so much fun and a great way to cool down. We also walked throughout Present and visited the Mickey Vacation Short.
Although there is a lot of walking between air-conditioned locations in EPCOT, this offers a lot. The aquarium in EPCOT is fantastic and so fun that kids can be entertained for hours. Back in the , there are a variety of shows and stores to explore.

Finally, stay cool as Disney heats up by getting to the Disney Parks early and visiting later in the evening. If you hit the Disney Parks early, not only is it less crowded, but it will also not be hot. It will still be hot in the , but not as awful as midday.
