Disney World Hits Guests With Wave of Overnight Price Hikes Across 7 Major Offerings

Disney World guests may want to take another look at their vacation budgets.

A wide-ranging collection of price increases took effect across Walt Disney World on October 6, 2026, affecting far more than one type of purchase. Guests are now seeing higher prices on food, Annual Passes, souvenirs, vacation photos, dining packages, and premium nighttime experiences.

Some changes amount to pocket change. Others add $10, $40, or up to $120 to the previous price.

Here are seven increases that could make a Disney World trip more expensive for the rest of 2026.

Park Snacks and Drinks Now Cost More

Guests don’t need to book an expensive dinner to encounter the new prices.

Regular popcorn increased from $5.99 to $6.29, while fountain beverages moved from $4.79 to $4.99.

Chicken strips also became more expensive. A two-piece order rose from $8.99 to $9.49, while a four-piece order now costs $11.99 instead of $10.99.

Disney left several other popular items unchanged. Bottled soda remains $5.50, Mickey pretzels cost $8.49, and Mickey ice cream bars and sandwiches remain $6.49.

Those differences are small individually, but families buying multiple snacks throughout several park days could feel the combined effect.

Memory Maker One Day Jumps $10

Vacation photos are another area where guests will find higher prices.

Memory Maker One Day increased from $75 to $85, meaning guests now pay another $10 to receive their PhotoPass downloads from a single day.

However, Disney didn’t raise every Memory Maker option.

The standard Memory Maker package remains $210. Guests who purchase at least three days in advance can also continue paying the discounted $185 price.

The increase, therefore, hits visitors who only want photos from a particular day.

Souvenir Shopping Gets More Expensive

Guests browsing Disney World gift shops will find higher prices on several popular souvenirs.

Most Minnie and Mickey ear headbands previously cost $36.99. Beginning October 6, that price increased to $38.99.

One documented Spirit Jersey made an even larger jump, moving from $79.99 on October 5 to $84.99 the next day.

Magnets and keychains in two pricing tiers also increased by $1. Meanwhile, MagicBand+, pins, and light-up souvenirs, which were examined during the changes, kept their previous prices.

Fireworks Upgrades Come With Higher Prices

The new costs extend into premium nighttime experiences.

At EPCOT, the adults-only GEO-82 Fireworks Experience previously had a flat $179 price. Disney has replaced that with date-based pricing ranging from $179 to $194 per person.

The experience includes reserved viewing of Luminous: The Symphony of Us, champagne, desserts, and a tasting tower.

Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties also increased. Adult Pre-Party and Post-Party prices moved from $99–$109 to $104–$119.

Seats & Sweets now range from $129–$144 for adults, up from $124–$134. Children’s prices remain unchanged.

Restaurant Meals Take Another Bite

Guests sitting down for a full meal aren’t escaping the increases either.

At ‘Ohana, adult breakfast climbed from $53 to $58. Children’s breakfast increased from $33 to $36. Dinner moved from $67 to $69 for adults and from $44 to $46 for children.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall raised breakfast from $62 to $66 for adults and from $39 to $42 for children.

Individual menu items changed, too. Hollywood Brown Derby’s Cobb Salad increased from $30 to $32, while its filet mignon jumped from $56 to $59.

For larger families, even a few extra dollars per person can add up to a noticeably larger restaurant bill.

Fantasmic! Dining Packages Also Increase

Another dining increase specifically affects guests heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The Fantasmic! Dining Package combines a meal with guaranteed seating for the nighttime spectacular, but several participating restaurants now charge more.

Adult pricing at 50’s Prime Time Cafe increased from $60 to $62, while Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant moved from $59 to $62.

Hollywood Brown Derby climbed from $83 to $84. At Hollywood & Vine, breakfast increased from $67 to $68 for adults, while lunch and dinner moved from $82 to $83.

Most children’s prices stayed unchanged, though Hollywood & Vine received minor adjustments.

Annual Passholders Face the Largest Increase

Of all seven categories, Annual Passes bring some of the biggest dollar increases.

The Pixie Dust Pass moved from $489 to $499. Disney raised the Pirate Pass from $869 to $909 and the Sorcerer Pass from $1,099 to $1,139.

The Incredi-Pass saw the largest increase. Its price climbed $120, from $1,629 to a record $1,749 before tax.

That’s particularly significant for out-of-state visitors because the Incredi-Pass is the only Annual Pass available to most guests who aren’t Florida residents or eligible Disney Vacation Club members.

Disney World Vacations Just Became More Expensive

No single increase tells the entire story.

A guest might pay only 20 or 30 cents more for one purchase, then encounter another increase at dinner, another while shopping, and another when adding vacation photos or a premium experience.

All seven categories changed on October 6, meaning guests visiting Disney World for the remainder of 2026 are already paying the new prices.

For families heading to the resort this fall or holiday season, checking the vacation budget before leaving home could be more important than expected.
