Disney Brings Back $63 to $86 Park Tickets Ahead of Major Park Changes

One Disney resort is offering discounted tickets for a limited group of guests, even as prices continue to rise across its broader ticketing and annual pass structure.

The move comes during a period of significant change at Disney’s international parks, where investment, expansion, and higher operating costs are reshaping how destinations approach pricing and promotions.

The Walt Disney Company is currently investing $60 billion globally to expand and enhance its theme park and experiences portfolio, with new lands, attractions, and infrastructure projects planned or underway across multiple resorts.

That investment coincides with steadily rising ticket prices. Visiting a Disney park has become more expensive in recent years, both in the United States and internationally, prompting ongoing debate among guests about value and accessibility.

Disneyland Paris is no exception. The resort has confirmed a series of price increases to its annual pass program, affecting all tiers beginning this year.

The former Bronze tier has been split into two options. Bronze One is priced at €289 and does not include park hopping, while Bronze Max includes hopping and increases from €289 to €399.

Silver passes will rise from €499 to €569. Gold passes will increase from €699 to €799, marking one of the highest annual pass prices in the resort’s history.

These changes arrive as the resort’s second gate undergoes a large-scale redevelopment. Walt Disney Studios Park is in the process of being transformed and will soon be rebranded as Disney Adventure World.

The park’s expansion includes World of Frozen, which is scheduled to open in March, along with a future land inspired by The Lion King.

Adventure Way, a new central promenade, will also debut as part of the overhaul. The area will feature attractions inspired by Tangled and Up, plus new dining and a nighttime show using fountains and drones.

Disneyland Paris Reintroduces Friends Tickets Promotion

Amid these price increases, Disneyland Paris has confirmed the return of its Friends Tickets promotion for a limited time in early 2026.

The offer will run from January 7 through March 27, 2026, and is available only to guests who hold a valid Disneyland Pass.

Under the program, passholders can purchase discounted park tickets for friends and family on select dates during the promotional window.

In 2025, Friends Tickets were priced between £47 and £64 per day, or approximately $63 to $86, depending on the date. Disneyland Paris has not yet released pricing details for the 2026 offer.

The promotion does not apply to all dates and is subject to availability, continuing the resort’s strategy of limiting discounts to specific audiences rather than implementing broad price reductions.

Disneyland Paris has not indicated whether additional ticket promotions will be introduced later in the year.

Attractions and Value at Disneyland Paris

Despite recent increases, Disneyland Paris remains one of the more affordable Disney destinations globally. Standard ticket prices are generally lower than those at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.

However, the resort is still more expensive than Tokyo Disney Resort, which is often cited as Disney’s most cost-effective major destination.

The Paris resort continues to offer a mix of familiar attractions and park-exclusive experiences. Disneyland Park features Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight, “it’s a small world,” and Snow White’s Scary Adventures.

Several attractions set the park apart from other Disney resorts. Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain is known for being the most intense version of the ride, while Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom offers a looping coaster unique to Paris.

Phantom Manor also differs significantly from other Haunted Mansion-style attractions, with a darker tone and storyline designed specifically for the European audience.

Thrill-focused rides are concentrated at Walt Disney Studios Park. RC Racer, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, and Crush’s Coaster remain among the park’s most popular attractions.

Crush’s Coaster, in particular, continues to post some of the longest wait times at the resort, even during less crowded periods.
