6 Tips for Enjoying the Disney Water Parks

Typhoon Lagoon Disney World

3. Bring an Appetite

While many guests would expect the water parks to have basic theme park options (burgers and hot dogs), guests can also find more inventive dining options at both parks.  Guests will want to make sure to save room for!  At Typhoon Lagoon, guests can find a variety of filling rice bowls, a shrimp salad, a chicken waffle sandwich, salads, and wraps!  For a more savory treat, guests can also find funnel cakes!  Guests who have a credit card linked to their MagicBand can enjoy the convenience of charging their food and drink to their rooms!

2. Try Something New

Both water parks offer a variety of different experiences for guests.  Guests can experience a leisurely and relaxing ride around the parks in either of the lazy rivers, a more intense body slide, or the full extreme experience of one of the drop slides.  It can be great trying something new at one of the water parks, so be sure to try it early in case you like it so much that you want to do it again!

1. Look Around

The water parks offer unique views of the individual park, but guests can also scope out some great views of the surrounding theme parks while waiting in line on some of the taller attractions.  This is particularly true at Blizzard Beach where guests can see into Animal Kingdom, but can also see views of Epcot and Hollywood Studios in the distance!

The Disney water parks are exquisitely themed parks that allow guests to cool off and relax in a wonderful environment while having a great time on unique attractions!  Have you been to one of the water parks? Which is your favorite?
