2. Other Rides
Given the variety of the other rides at both of the parks, guests can expect to enjoy short and quick body slides, larger tube rides, and larger family raft rides. Disney has done a good job of balancing these rides at each of the parks, but there is a standout of these rides between the two parks and that is the Crush ‘n Gusher. Guests have their choice of one of three slides that take guests on a great adventure that includes going up and down. The Crush ‘n Gusher is a water coaster that uses pressurized water to thrill guests as they cool off. Given the uniqueness of the attraction, Typhoon Lagoon wins for the other rides at the park.
1. Lazy River
Both parks have extremely thematic lazy rivers for guests looking to cool off with the least amount of energy required. Guests can enter into the lazy rivers at multiple points along the way and can continue floating around for as long as they want. With rivers that wind their way through various caves and around other water features, it is hard to pick a favorite, but the Blizzard Beach lazy river is a little cooler given the theme of the park, so we prefer the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon, but both are fabulous.
Given the choice between the water parks, our preference is Typhoon Lagoon, but when the question is trying to stay cool in Florida, either water park will do the trick. Have you visited either of the Disney water parks? Which is your favorite?
