The Epcot area is one of our favorite places to stay, and with good reason! There is a LOT to see and do in this area, and you’re incredibly close to so much of the magic of Walt Disney World. Which resorts are considered Epcot area resorts? Disney’s Yacht Club, Beach Club, and Boardwalk Inn (along with the non-Disney hotels, the Swan and Dolphin) are all considered Epcot area resorts. There are tons of places to eat, shop, and hang out in this area, but a handful of things make our must-do list every vacation. You won’t even need a park ticket to enjoy them! Here are 11 things you will absolutely love to do in the Epcot resort area:
11. Eat pizza on the Boardwalk
Easily one of our family’s favorite traditions is to get pizza from the walk-up pizza window on the Boardwalk, grab an outdoor table and enjoy the ambiance of the Boardwalk while we have a little pizza party. You can purchase pizza by the slice or by whole pizza, and it really is good pizza. It’s also one of our favorite bargain meals, and everyone in our family can agree on this for a first-night-of-vacation dinner.
10. Watch the nighttime entertainers on the Boardwalk
Almost every night, the Boardwalk comes to life as it gets dark. Magicians, jugglers and acrobats offer endless entertainment in the middle of the Boardwalk, and there’s never a dull moment. There may be midway-style games set up that your whole family can participate in, hair wrap stations, or pin trading stations depending on the time that you visit.
