4. Restaurants
While there are many restaurants at both of the parks, some of the restaurants at Typhoon Lagoon offer some unique choices — chicken and waffle sandwiches, shrimp salad, po boy sandwiches, as well as other traditional options, club sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs! While Blizzard Beach has some great dining options, too, Typhoon Lagoon offers the more unique options that are guaranteed to please!
3. Drop Slides
Both of the parks offer the “drop slide” where guests plummet quickly from the top of the slide to the bottom. At Typhoon Lagoon, the slide is the Humunga Kowubunga which offers guests a near five-story drop through Mount Mayday. Over at Blizzard Beach, guests will ascend and quickly descend the Summit Plummet. This slide is billed as one of the tallest and fastest free fall slides in the world. Given the the thrill factor, Blizzard Beach wins for best drop slide.
