6. Answer guest questions to the best of your ability
There are always articles circulating the internet that say Cast Members aren’t allowed to say ‘I don’t know’ when a guest asks a question. Although that isn’t true, it is expected that you answer the question to the best of your ability. Cast Members are given many tools and training to assist in answering guest questions of any variety, but it’s hard to remember everything! If I didn’t know the answer to a question, I’d illicit help from a fellow Cast Member or direct the guest to Guest Relations, which is truly equipped to address any question or concern.
