6 Expectations Walt Disney World Has of its Employees

Cast Members Magic Kingdom

5. Be on time and flexible in your role

This is something you’ll find at most jobs, but it’s taken even more seriously at Disney. Clocking in even a second late to a shift, if you’re a park employee, reflects negatively on you. This is why they encourage their cast to be at least 15 minutes early to their shift. This may seem harsh, but you should adopt this practice in your life as well. I was always told if you’re less than 15 minutes early to where you need to be, you’re already late. It’s also important to be flexible and ready to assist wherever you’re needed so that everything can operate as smoothly as possible.
