3. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant—Commissary Lane
This is one of those fun Disney dining experiences that you have to see to believe. You and your family will be dining in a car-shaped booth or table designed to look and feel like you have returned to the 50’s and the age of drive-in movies. Yes, there are clips of those sci-fi movies that were thrilling and chilling audiences of that time period, most of them in black & white. After you are seated by your own personal car hop, it is time to pick your favorite food, with choices like a Southern burger, a Rueben sandwich, chicken pasta, and my favorite, an oven-roasted turkey sandwich. Save room for a scrumptious dessert. Choose between a hot fudge sundae, Out-of-This-World-Turtle Cheesecake, or a warm glazed doughnut. It’s really hard to choose, so order a couple and share with your family or group. Non-alcoholic beverages, and a selection of wines are available. This is the best way to relive those days of drive-in movies, and instead of popcorn and candy snacks, you can enjoy a delicious meal while being entertained by iconic black & white sci-fi thrillers.
