6 Days a Year When Disney's Magic Kingdom is Insanely Busy

1. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Bet you didn't expect this one, did you? But alas it's true. Since Martin Luther King Jr. Day always falls on a Monday, it creates a three-day weekend at minimum, with some schools around the country giving extra days off around it. And where do you think many of those vacationers will be headed? You guessed it: Magic Kingdom.

It's no New Year's Eve by any stretch, but don't head down to Orlando thinking you're going to be all clever by missing those New Year's crowds by a few days. There will be plenty of crowds to contend with, trust us. You can expect wait times for lots of rides to exceed two hours at the very least.

So there you have it, six of the busiest days of the year in Magic Kingdom. We hope this helps you in your planning, because we'd sure hate for you to arrive at the gate on the worst possible days.
