6 Biggest Expenses of a Walt Disney World Vacation

1. Hotel

One of the first things you will have to consider is where you will stay during your trip. Will you stay onsite at a Disney hotel or offsite?  To answer that question, you have to consider your budget and if you want to do other central Florida attractions.  If you’re planning to do just Disney, it really comes down to budget.  While a Disney hotel may be more expensive than offsite, be aware that you gain several advantages by staying onsite.   Those include proximity to the parks, free transportation, extra magic hours and 24/7 Disney magic.  There is value in those things!  To help with your budget, Disney has several hotel price categories, including value, moderate, deluxe, home-away-from-home, and the Disney campgrounds.  Do your homework and decide what works for you.  At certain times of the year, you can stay at a Disney value hotel for $100 or less per night!
