5. Holiday Parties
Twice a year, the Magic Kingdom is transformed into a winter wonderland or fall-themed Halloween town! During these times, the Magic Kingdom plays host to special-themed parties for guests to explore the park. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party invites guests to the park for trick-or-treating, special entertainment, fireworks, and the ever-popular Boo to You Parade! The party is held on select nights after the Magic Kingdom closes from the beginning of September through Halloween. Once the pageantry of Halloween is over, the Magic Kingdom is transformed with holiday decorations to celebrate Christmas. Main Street becomes adorned with wreaths, icicles, and snow! Guests can explore all of the decorations and special entertainment during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which runs from early November through Christmas. Both parties require separate admission, so be sure to make your plans early — both are great ways to get in the mood for the holidays!
