Stay at a New Disney Resort

As you begin your planning, consider trying out a new Disney Resort hotel. The Walt Disney World Resort has many excellent Resorts to choose from; push yourself to try something new during your next trip.

We love that Disney offers three different categories for their Resorts. Value Resorts allow Guests to stick to their budget while staying within the Disney bubble. They have extensive food courts and fun, over-the-top theming.

Moderate Resorts provide bigger rooms, more dining, and slides at the main feature pools. Finally, the Deluxe Resorts are the best of the best. These Resorts are typically close to one of the Disney Parks, making it easy to get to and from via a Skyliner, monorail, or even walking. Deluxe Resorts have numerous food options and excellent pools but come at a higher price tag.

As you consider where to stay during your 2023 Disney vacation, think about trying out a new Resort. Do you typically stick with moderate or value Resorts during your stay? What about staying at a deluxe Resort for a night or two? Split stays are an excellent way to combine something you are comfortable with and something new.

Think about which Disney Parks you will visit throughout your trip and consider a Disney Resort that would provide easier access to them. Pop Century and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort have quick Skyliner access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Focusing on Magic Kingdom? Consider Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or one of the beautiful monorail Resorts for a few nights.

Push yourself to experience a new Resort during your next stay. You might find your new favorite Disney Resort.

Visit a New Restaurant

Walt Disney World is constantly opening new dining options for Guests to experience. Like with your Disney Resort, it is easy to revisit old favorites during your vacation. In 2023, pick one new restaurant to experience.

If your family focuses on quick service locations, try the new Connections Cafe & Eatery in EPCOT. Another way to try something new is to have one table-service meal during your trip if you usually don’t take time for them.

We also recommend visiting some of the Disney Resorts for meals. There are many great quick-service and table-service restaurants at Disney Resorts. Consider leaving Disney Park for a break and a good meal at Beaches and Cream or Steakhouse 71.

We know that those large food court locations like Cosmic Rays are accessible, but make sure you are experiencing all the great dining options Disney offers.

Have a Resort Day and Sleep In

This might sound crazy to many Disney fans, but we suggest trying it out. Take one whole day to enjoy your Disney Resort. Slow down, sleep in, and relax. We get so caught up during our Disney vacations rushing from place to place. In 2023, we encourage you to take some time during your vacation to slow down.

The Walt Disney World Resort hotels are fantastic, and we often miss out on everything they offer. Plan a Resort day where you enjoy the dining, the pools, and the entertainment at your Disney Resort. This might even be some of your top memories of the trip.

Experiencing Something New

We all have our favorite rides at Walt Disney World. Those favorite rides often lead to the same touring plan each time we visit. During 2023, let’s all try to experience something new that we haven’t before during our trips.

Looking at the four Disney Parks, they have so much to offer Guests. We often focus on the big E-Ticket attractions in each of them, but there is so much more to explore.

In EPCOT, take time to watch films or explore the countries. Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, enjoy a slow walk around the different trails as you enjoy the beautiful scenery. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has Walt Disney Presents a fantastic look at the start of Walt Disney’s dream. Finally, Magic Kingdom has many hidden shows we often walk right past. Slow down and take all of those in for fun. Enjoy Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room or the Country Bear Jamboree. These are iconic Disney experiences that so many of us miss.

In 2023, let’s work hard to experience something in the Disney Parks that we haven’t yet during our trips.

Explore Outside the Four Disney Parks

When planning a trip to Walt Disney World, we focus on the four central Disney Parks. In 2023, let’s explore some of the magic outside of Disney Parks.

Add a visit to a Disney water Park to your plans. Blizzard Beach just recently reopened with an adorable new Frozen theme. Enjoy time with family and friends exploring these well-themed water parks.

Get competitive and visit one of the mini-golf courses Disney has or go bowling at Splitsville in Disney Springs. You can even visit the horses at Fort Wilderness.

Walt Disney World has so much to offer Guests outside the Disney Parks. Take time in 2023 to explore some of these options during your vacation.
