1. Stay at a Magic Kingdom area resort
If your budget will allow it, staying at a resort in the Magic Kingdom area is the best way to get easy access to the park. Some of the resorts, like Disney’s Fort Wilderness, have boats that will take you to the park entrance since they’re a little further away but still close enough to not need a bus. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa are both quick trips on the monorail. But the best, of course, is Disney’s Contemporary Resort, which is a short walk to the park entrance. This is definitely the most ideal option as you can truly wake up and head to the park without having to wait around for buses or having to deal with driving.
Magic Kingdom may be the park that has the most steps to get there, but there are ways to cut your time, and transportation, in half. However, getting there truly is half the fun, especially when you get to take monorails, buses or ferry boats!
