Who amongst us has not enjoyed the scrumptiousness of a candy or caramel covered apple on a stick. If you visit this particular shop, you will find a large variety of covered apples, including chocolate, white chocolate, caramel, with a large assortment of toppings; nuts, mini marshmallows, colored granulated sugar, m&m’s, and many more. They also come in different designs, celebrating all the different Holidays throughout the year.
9. Lobster Roll—Columbia Harbor House—Liberty Square/Magic Kingdom
Step into a replica of an early American coastal eatery, with a nautical theme, including furnishings and portraits of sailing ships on the walls. My favorite seafood item here is the lobster roll—chilled large chunks of fresh lobster with just a touch of mayonnaise on a New England style bun served with delicious House-made potato chips.
8. Cheshire Cat Tail—Cheshire Cafe’—Fantasyland/Magic Kingdom
This small quaint little counter service snack shop’s main feature is the “Cheshire Cat Tail”, a braided pastry with a chocolate filling, a drizzle of pink and purple icing, with sprinkles of chocolate chips; a true sugar rush. It’s a real, sweet, Cheshire Cat treat.
7. Grandma’s Chicken Pot Pie—50’s Prime Time Cafe’—Hollywood Studios
In addition to the aforementioned PB&J milkshake, you will also enjoy this savory, comfort food; namely, an utterly delectable chicken pot pie, just like Grandma used to make with a creamy mixture of chicken, mushrooms, carrots, celery, onions and peas topped with a flaky crust. You better finish it all, or your surrogate “Mom” will feed you what remains on your plate, all in fun, of course.
6. Grilled Chicken BLT Sandwich—Restaurantosaurus—Animal Kingdom
This uniquely themed restaurant has all th elements and furnishings resembling a dining establishment catering to students of paleontology, with all sorts of photos and digging instruments everywhere you look. The grilled chicken blt sandwich is fantastic, made with a grilled chicken breast and thick-cut Hickory-smoked bacon, tomato, Arugula, spicy Aioli, toasted parmesan crumbles on a Brioche roll and served with French fries. It’s the best BLT in the “World”.
