35 of the Best Things to Eat and Drink at Walt Disney World

15. Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup—Le Cellier Steakhouse—Epcot/World Showcase—Canada Pavilion

This flavorful soup warms the body and the soul.  It is made with Moosehead Beer and Canadian Applewood-smoked bacon.  The steaks are excellent, but this soup is perfect for a lighter meal.

14. Colony Salad—Liberty Tree Tavern—Liberty Square

This restaurant immerses you in colonial times with early American furnishings and vintage portraits on the walls.  This particular salad is filled with a bounty of fresh vegetables and fruits that would have been available during those early years.  The Colony salad is made with grilled chicken, Washington apples, sweet pecans, applewood smoked cheddar, and dried cranberries tossed with field greens in a Honey-Shallot Vinaigrette.

13.  French Pastries--Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie—Epcot/World Showcase—France Pavilion

The pastries at this gourmet pastry shop are beyond description, but let me give it a try by describing a couple of heavenly choices—Sacristain—pastry with chocolate chips & cream, Fraises—vanilla cream, topped with strawberries, and my favorite—Macarons.  These French classic pastry specialties are as light as a feather; almond meringue cookies with your choice of fillings, including chocolate, raspberry, mixed berries, or my favorite filling, pistachio and white chocolate. Enjoy, enjoy enjoy!

12. Night Blossom—Pongu Pongu—Animal Kingdom/Pandora

This is one of the coolest drink mixes and served out of a counter service venue located near the Tree of Life.  Here is a brief description of this amazing refreshment—it is a mixture of limeade with apple and pear, topped with Passion Fruit boba(small pearls of tapioca), and what makes this fantastic beverage even more unique are the glowing Unadelta seed (optional).

A brand new drink for a brand new Disney theme park.  Very cool and refreshing!

11. “The Kitchen Sink”—Beaches & Cream Soda Shop—Beach Club Resort

This gigantic ice cream extravaganza is a challenge for any group or family gathering.  You will soon find out why this extreme sundae is aptly called “The Kitchen Sink”. It is served in a large silver version of a kitchen sink and here is what makes it so unique: several scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, cookies & cream, and mint chocolate chip ice cream toppings of marshmallow, strawberry, pineapple, peanut butter, hot fudge, caramel and chocolate syrup, bits of brownie, cake, candy bars and Oreos; chocolate and peanut butter morsels, a lot of maraschino cherries, and topped off with a whole can of whipped cream.  Are you up to the challenge?  Good luck and have fun!
