20. Fish ‘n Chips—Yorkshire County Fish Shop—Epcot/World Showcase/UK
The fish was outstanding with a thin, crisp, fried coating and moist and flaky fish inside, and the “chips” fries were also hot and crisp. Even though this is a counter service vendor with a few tables around, I found a place nearby to sit overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon and thoroughly enjoyed my fish n’ chips.
19. Cronut—Refreshment Port—Epcot—Counter Service
Cronut is an abbreviation for a Croissant/Doughnut combination, and this fried pastry is formed out of rings of croissant dough, then tossed with cinnamon & sugar for a pastry sensation that will literally melt in your mouth. *Try it a la mode with a swirl of vanilla ice cream*
18. Barbeque Chicken Macaroni & Cheese—Friar’s Nook—Fantasyland—Magic Kingdom
Oh boy, how do I describe how delicious this comfort food combination is? It’s a cup filled with smooth and creamy mac & cheese, covered with sweet & tangy pulled BBQ chicken with a small amount of coleslaw and bread crumbs to top it off. Need I say more? Enjoy!
17. PB&J Milkshake— 50’sPrime Time Cafe’—Hollywood Studios
Yes, it’s the 50’s, and your server is a surrogate Mom who will make you finish every bite and sip of your beverage. It will be easy to finish your PB&J milkshake because it is so luscious and prepares your taste buds for the delectable food to follow.
16. Fried Green Tomato Sandwich—The Plaza Restaurant—Main Street—Magic Kingdom
This is true Southern comfort food, and is so much more enjoyable due to the atmosphere of this turn-of-the-century delightful dining parlor. The sandwich is made with a deep-fried green tomato, served with bacon, arugula, tomato, and pepperjack cheese topped with Alabama White BBQ sauce on a toasted Kaiser roll with a choice of seasonal vegetables, homemade chips (which are awesome), or French fries. Oh so yummy!
