11. The First Goofy
The first actor to portray the voice of Goofy was comedy performer and voice actor, Pinto Colvig. Now a Disney Legend, Colvig was no stranger to the voiceover studio, having voiced famous Disney characters such as Bashful and Grumpy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, as well as Mickey’s pal, Pluto. However, he is also famous for portraying one of the most recognizable characters on television. In the 1940s, Colvig portrayed the original Bozo the Clown for Capitol Records, and he kept the role until passing the nose to Larry Harmon in 1956. Though he was famous for donning a red nose and greasepaint, he will always be remembered as the original Goofy.
