3. Grab some sweets at the Screen Door General Store
One of my kids’ favorite parts of the Boardwalk is the Screen Door General Store. You can find saltwater taffy, chocolates, and little trinkets galore here. It truly feels like an old-fashioned general store. We love to browse all the unique finds here and grab some snacks for later in our room.
2. Play some games at the arcades
Both the Boardwalk and the Yacht and Beach Clubs offer arcades. On the Boardwalk side, the arcade is located beside the main pool, behind the lobby. At the Yacht & Beach Clubs, you’ll find an arcade tucked away beside the gym. Both arcades are off the beaten path and require looking for them to find them, but they are well worth the search. Offering a range of vintage to modern video games, there is something for the whole family. It’s a great option if a rainy day puts a twist in your park plans.
1. Catch a sporting event at the ESPN Club
No matter your favorite sport, you’re sure to find a TV playing it at the ESPN Sports Club. This place has awesome food, drinks and atmosphere. There is always a party going on at the ESPN club, but if you can catch a major sporting event (games in the World Series, football playoffs) while eating a burger, you’re the real winner.
Schedule some down time into your Disney vacation and head over to the Epcot resorts area for plenty of laid-back fun and delicious food, with a lot of Disney magic sprinkled in. Happy planning!
