10 Things You Must Do In Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom At Least Once

Castle Night Fireworks

2. Nighttime spectacles

Nightfall is no time to leave Magic Kingdom Park, in fact, that’s when the nighttime spectacles are just getting started. Disney Parks have been known for enjoyable evening entertainments all along, from parades to fireworks, and many magical experiences that just seem better under the dark skies. Now there are two new night delights you’re going to want to stick around for. Happily Ever After is a new fireworks/castle projection spectacle that debuted this past May, replacing the longstanding Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams. This new show, which spans 18 minutes, features more lasers, lights, and character projections than any other fireworks show ever to be presented at the Magic Kingdom. Following this new nighttime experience is the 14-minute Once Upon A Time castle projection. Showing nightly at 9:45 p.m., this show comes to you as a lovely presentation by Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast as she tells a heart-felt bedtime story to her teacup son Chip, featuring a host of scenes and music from many of your favorite Disney films. Every Disney World guest should at least one time or another experience these nighttime spectacles.
