10 Experiences You Shouldn’t Skip In Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland

Most Guests take time during their Walt Disney World vacation to visit the iconic Magic Kingdom. This is the Disney Park that most of us grow up thinking about visiting one day.  With Cinderella Castle, Main Street, and the Walt Disney World Railroad filling commercials and movies this Park became a dream for many.

Magic Kingdom creates magic for Guests as they travel through many unique lands. From hanging out with pirates in Adventureland to blasting off to space in Tomorrowland, each land is completely different.

The land in Magic Kingdom that brings magic to Guests is Fantasyland. This land is full of enchanted, magical stories where Guests can visit some of their favorite childhood stories. There is so much to do in this land, that we want to share ten of the top experiences you won’t want to miss out on.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

The most popular attraction in not just Fantasyland but all of Magic Kingdom right now is Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. This will quickly be changing in April when Tron opens, but right now Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is the winner.

This family-friendly coaster has been a top hit since it opened. Guests join Snow white and her adorable seven friends as they head into the mines for precious jewels. Not only do you get to dart through the mines, but you also get to sway back and forth in your own mine car.

Guests of all ages can enjoy this coaster together. Because of how popular it is, make sure you plan to ride early or consider purchasing an individual lightning lane to avoid a long wait.

Under the Sea- Voyage of the Little Mermaid

This ride was brought in along with Seven Dwarfs Mine Train when Fantasyland was expanded. This is a ride through the beloved story of Ariel and her prince.

Guests board their clam shells and then head under the sea. Enjoy some of the best songs such as Under the Sea and Kiss the Girl. This beautiful ride is a wonderful ride for the whole group.

Enchanted Tales With Belle

Enchanted Tales with Belle

Join Lumiere in retelling the story of Belle and her Beast. Not only is there a breathtaking beginning that transforms Guests from Maurice’s workshop into the story. Help by playing the role of some of your favorite characters from Beauty and the Beast. 

This enchanted experience just recently returned to Magic Kingdom and we are thrilled to have it back as one of the top experiences in Fantasyland. This is truly a unique experience where the Guests become part of the magic.

Philharmagic

Mickey’s Philharmagic

This is a hidden gem in Fantasyland. As so many focus on the classic attractions or the thrill of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, they often skip past Mickey’s PhilharMagic.

This show brings songs from favorites. Coco, Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast are all featured in a fun 3D experience.

This attraction is perfect for stepping away from the heat and crowds. Guests can sit back and enjoy the show.

Cinnamon Roll From Gaston’s

The one food item we are going to put on this list is the cinnamon roll found at Gaston’s. This is a huge, warm and gooey cinnamon roll. Don’t forget to ask for extra icing!

Princess Fairytale Hall

For princess lovers out there, don’t miss out on Princess Fairytale Hall. Guests can meet up to four princesses at this meet-and-greet area.

Rapunzel, Elena, Cinderella, and Tiana are often found here. Guests can choose which princesses they want to stop by and say hello to while in Fantasyland.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Bibbity Bobbity Boutique

A truly magical experience found only in Magic Kingdom, Bibbity Bobbity Boutique is a transformational experience. Children are able to become beautiful princesses or shining knights as Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices pamper them until the transformation is complete. 

This is an extremely popular experience so if it is something that your children will want to do, make sure that you book a reservation at your 60-day mark. This is when appointments can be made through My Disney Experience.

Peter Pan’s Flight

Get ready to fly to Neverland with Peter and friends as you sail high above on your very own ship. As you think a happy thought, you will fly away with Wendy, Peter, and Tinker Belle as they guide you through Neverland. Find Captain Hook, the mermaid lagoon, and even the Chief’s village. Even though the ride is short, it is a classic ride that shouldn’t be missed when visiting Fantasyland. Make sure to get there early or use Genie+ to avoid long lines.

It’s a Small World

Finally, don’t miss out on it’s small world one of the most iconic attractions in all of Walt Disney World. Found in Fantasyland, board the boat that will take you through different countries. Enjoy as they all come together to show that it is truly a small world after all.

There is so much to see and do throughout Fantasyland that it can be hard to do it all in one day. If you are wanting to focus on the top experiences in this land, these are the ten that we would recommend. They bring the magic of dreams and fairytales to Guests through storytelling.
