6 Expectations Walt Disney World Has of its Employees

Chef Castmembers

4. Represent the company in a positive light at all times

Working for Disney is an honor and should be treated as such. It isn’t enough to just be a good Cast Member when at work—you should be a good Cast Member even when you’re off work, too. This includes not talking negatively about the company on social media and not going out and doing inappropriate things in your costume, such as drinking excessively. You represent the company 24/7 and should try to keep that in mind. That isn’t to say you can’t have fun, but as you would with any other job just be respectful and mindful of your actions.
