Overview

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a deluxe Disney Resort. It is part of the Disney Vacation Club, offering the main lodge, Boulder Ridge, and Cooper Creek Villas. The theming is an amazing Northwest, rustic feel.

The lobby is one of the most breathtaking lodges in all of Walt Disney World. A beautiful, large lobby with a wide-open atmosphere that looks out over the natural stream that flows down to the geyser.

Let’s get into why you should book these fantastic Disney Resorts during your next Walt Disney World vacation.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge

Beauty

First and foremost, we need to talk about the overall beauty of this Disney Resort. As we mentioned earlier, the lobby of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is stunning. The vast, high ceilings, rustic fireplace, and beautiful, large windows create a welcoming and homey feeling.

The towering totem poles, headdresses, and rustic fireplace work together to create a calming and welcoming atmosphere that is often needed during a busy Disney vacation.

We love that the lobby has numerous areas to relax. Guests can find chairs in front of the fireplace in the main lobby, or they can choose to head upstairs to find tables, rocking chairs, and small hidden areas perfect for a quick nap and relaxing.

Outside of the lobby, Guests can enjoy lush, beautiful grounds. There are so many great walking paths that take Guests around the Resort to enjoy the beautifully landscaped areas.

Don’t forget to walk down by the water so you can enjoy the boats as they travel back and forth from Magic Kingdom.

We weren’t sure we would appreciate Florida’s rustic, Northwest feel, but it was so relaxing and beautiful.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has many activities for everyone to enjoy, including walking around the Resort to take in the beauty.
