5. Hard ticket events
If you plan on visiting the parks from the end of August through the middle of December, you should know that Magic Kingdom has hard ticket events on select nights. From August through October, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party takes over Magic Kingdom on select nights. From November through December, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes over on select nights. The park will close at 7pm, which means anyone without a ticket for the event will have to leave. Be sure to check the dates of the parties so you don’t buy a regular ticket and not get the full value.
