Walt Disney World Resort's 5 Deluxe Resort Villas - What They Have To Offer

Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villa

2. The Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Staying in a Treehouse Villa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is, by no means, the same as staying in a tree house. It’s far too luxurious an experience to be anything untamed and woodsy. But the overall resort is a bucolic beauty all the same, following a style reminiscent of the 19th century upstate New York country retreat destination for which it was named. That area served as a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Likewise, the location of Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa in relation to the busyness of Disney Springs is just as analogous.

Disney’s Saratoga Springs opened in 2004 as the largest of all Disney Vacation Club Resorts, comprising of 65 acres. The overall construction for the resort was done in multiple phases, spanning several years. The end result—now the resort boasts a great variant of different lodging options, ranging in Deluxe studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom grand villas, and the aforementioned Treehouse Villas. Two-bedroom villas can accommodate eight to nine guests, while three-bedroom grand villas can comfortably sleep up to 12. The Treehouse Villas are unique in that they are stand-alone homelike structures located within the resort’s surrounding woodlands. They are elevated 10 feet off the ground by way of supported beams and offer stunning views overlooking Disney’s own Sassagoula River. They boast three bedrooms and can accommodate up to nine people. All villas come with all those home-away-from-home comforts, including fully equipped kitchens with appliances and utensils, a washer/dryer, whirlpool tubs, Internet access, flat screen televisions, DVD players, and numerous other amenities.

You’ll find tons to do around the resort, from a broad range of recreational pursuits to lavish dining, and plenty of other possibilities as well. As a place known for relaxation, rejuvenation, and rediscovering what it means to have a personal escape, a spa treatment is the perfect way to unwind. Drawing on inspiration from the original Saratoga Springs, which was famous for natural springs and mineral treatments, the healthful spa services here include massage and body therapies, facials, and a host of other relaxing practices. Other around-the-resort delights to enjoy include five remarkable pools, an arcade and community hall full of diversions, guided fishing excursions, tennis and basketball courts, shopping, and golf at Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, nearby.

As previously mentioned, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is located within convenient range of Disney Springs, and guests can easily get to the surrounding attractions at this venue by way of boat or even via walking route and a pedestrian bridge that leads right into the Disney Springs Marketplace. And of course, complimentary shuttle services are there to take you to this location as well as all the Disney Parks and other points of interest. Because of its size, the resort even has internal shuttle service operations that travel between the High Rock Spring Pool and the Treehouse Villas.
