18. Adventuring through American history
Celebrate the heart of the American spirit with this 30-minute presentation housed within the large, stately theater within the American Adventure Pavilion. Watch as 35 audio-animatronic figures tell and reenact the life and times of the American people from the beginning on through post-World War II modern times. Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain serve to host and narrate this epic journey through history. Other notable historical figures making up the presentation lineup include Thomas Jefferson, Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglas, Alexander Graham Bell, Teddy Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Will Rogers, Chief Joseph, and Martin Luther King, Jr. From the show’s outstanding recreated historical scenes to its concluding film entourage comprised of different historical clips of famous people and events throughout modern history, the American Adventure evokes feelings of patriotic pride to send your spirit soaring.
